The work place dainty tray

Hiya,

Hooo boy what a season, I love Christmas and all that it brings, however when you work in retail. There are terrors that go along with it. I love baking for the staff when we do a pot luck or anything of the such. This is a tray of squares that made.. 3 different kinds. This is my 3rd tray this season, sad to say not my most photogenic, the one I made for my gurls staff party was smoke'n cool.

Square 1

Best Ever Brownies.

The Software
3 tbsp Cocoa
1/2 C Margarine
2 Eggs
1 C Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 C Flour
Dash Salt

The Application
Melt margarine in a small pot with cocoa. Beat eggs till foamy, add sugar while beating. Then stir in chocolate mixture, and vanilla. Add flour and mix till smooth. Pour into a 9x9 lined pan* and bake in a 350 Degree oven for 30 min

Square 2

Jason's wacky toffee bar????? I made this one up.. it doesn't have a name

The Software
1/2 C Margerine
1 tsp of Vanilla
1 tbsp of molasses
1 1/4 C of Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 package of Chippets Score toffee Chunks

The Application
With an electric mixer cream margerine, then add vanilla, and molasses continue to mix with the electric mixer and add sugar. Add eggs and continue to beat on medium for about a minute.
Now with your spatchula blend in flour and then once mixed well add 1/2 package of toffee, mix and pour into a lined* 9x9 pan and bake for 35-40 min in a 350 degree oven.. these will be gooey... once out of the oven sprinkle with loose toffee chunks and garnish with a few mini-chips.

Square 3
Butterscotch Chocolate Chunk Blondies
stolen straight from another blog...

* I find it most benifital to line my 9x9 pans with tin foil and then spray them with cooking spray before putting in the oven.. this does a couple of things, first it makes clean up quicker, I find it cooks more evenly, and then if doing multiple squares you can just pull the foil out reline and pour in next batter.
