Folklorama!

It is time to Get Cultured!

It is the end of July and that means only one thing to us in Winnipeg Folklorama . This is an annual festival that has over 40 pavilion each of a different culture or nationality to visit in just two short week.

At each Pavilion there is a show that usually involves Great dancing, Or Mind blowing Taiko drumming (seen above), a cultural display from each countries home land, And of course ... FOOD.. Diet g'bye, I'm gettin out the fat pants for this one ... Everything from Samosas at the Indian Pavilion to Hagus at the Scottish pavilion.. to Vodka at the Russian pavilion. Last year we were lucky enough to win passes to every single pavilion at the kick off this year we are going back to try and win them again. However if we don't win each pavilion is gona set us back 3.75 per.
