Folklorama Kick Off

This Saterday was the folklorama Kick off. There was an all day event at the Forks in Winnipeg, Last year was a low key kick off. This year however was a much bigger deal. There was a group of Brazilian Martial Artists, also called Capoeira, there that Rocked. As well as a Lion Dance demonstration as well. We have tickets to the World Lion Dance compitition that is being held in town too. This is the first time that it is being held out side of Asia.

I was dissapointed that there was no Ethinic food booths there, but the shows were amazing.
